on our never ending search to provide you with uplifting, energetic and soulful tracks, we stumbled upon a young dj duo from the netherlands that have only just begun their story and yet have their sound locked down. new jack city seem to understand exactly what it is we re looking for and have crafted three splendid tracks purely for the enjoyment of others. to top it all off we ve enlisted signor gianni siravo a.k.a. washerman for a remix which captures the spirit of tomorrow is now, kid!we hope you enjoy this ep as much as we have creating it

from shattered court dreams to booming international dj gigs, marius maier, a former german youth basketball champion, retired from the game after sustaining a knee injury a few years ago. but like any as one door closes…-story goes, re.you quickly channeled his energy and ambition into electronic dance music. he exchanged his jersey number for an artst alias and the reincarnation birthed a rising talent by the name of re.you. new to the mobilee booking roster, re.you has already delivered his second ep on the 112 mark titled, anyway. this three-parter includes the self titled anyway dominating the a-side while the flip side brings it down with you had enough featuring forrest. and a remix of the lead track from re.yous live act partner, rampa. the duo perform as rar and are available on cocoon records.

last year anton feist and fabian fenk of the/das debuted on life and death with their fresh water ep, a collaboration with tale of us that functioned as a milestone release for the label. now the duo is back with three new songs that move mysteriously around the edges of the club.

antigone is an artists coming from the depth paris producing and digging for several years now. the three tracks are a travel in to different style of techno with the intention to reach a certain emotion that is close from nostalgia and really deep feeling. the challenge of this work was to find a good balance between sound and colour, focusing on an old sci-­&#8208,,,fi landscape. with a really mature perception this young artist is developing his own sound, a detroit atmospheres, openly characterize this ep, but it remains antigone work at the end with all his sense of details and perception.

adesse has recently turned heads with his sought after and limited versions releases. for prime numbers he brings another high quality ep featuring three more excursions. the title track, untitled love, is a dubbed up 90s-esque workout. repetitive vocal samples swirl over a deep, low-slung bass groove & peak’d-up snares. its an unashamedly wide eyed, bouncing production that will please those checking for the current resurgence of raw garage sounds. supernal takes things into deeper territory with an intriguing steppers outing. the track oozes soul with rousing keys & smoked-out production that is all kept in line by a mesmerising, metronomic vocal. the set is closed by metachemistry an equally engrossing track utilising a shuffling groove wrapped in breathy, reedy horns & heavily reverbed percussion. all told a deeply reverential release highlighting a producer with an obviously wide palette of influence & a natural feel for what simply works.
